DESCRIPTION: Imagine; a row house building in Rotterdam that was completely neglected. Stella and her husband Yoeri bought the building and with the help of an architect they turned it into their 3-story dream home. Revealing brickwork stemmed from Stella and Joeri’s idea to do one exposed brick feature wall, but their architect saw the potential to create a striking feature out of the raw quality of the old bricks. Before long, an entire wall surface running the entire length of the house and up all three floors was exposed, giving the house a distinctive, though unintentional, industrial aesthetic.
